What happened?

EDIT: Check the replies for screenshots of this. I apologise, this may not per se be a bug.

In the last 48-72 hours, the Grayjay app has begun showing livestreams that are unrelated to anything I watch or want to watch, and so at least feel like they're not from the YouTube algorithm. I've cross-checked each time with the YouTube app and can find the same videos there from creators I follow, but not these livestreams.

Examples include Musk streams, breaking news from American channels or news broadcasts, and various American streams.

For example, right now, my feed is Rossmann, Lofi Girl livestream (never watched before), Letsynthesise, ABC7 LA chase livestream, Speeed leaving donut (not something I follow but it's blasting the algo so I understand why it's there) and several more creators I follow, followed by The Crucible streaming what I think is a fight livestream watch party.

Everything in bold I have never watched or searched for in the history of my signed-in account.

NOTE: just checked for an update manually and found I was on 188. Upgraded to 190 and still have an American livestream in my feed, at position #2 - "Watch live: police are in pursuit of a driver in LAC"

In case you can't tell from the context here, I'm not American, and haven't watched an LA chase stream in my life, haha!

FWIW, I also keep having the home feed 'load' at the bottom, and need to scroll up a few videos to get to the top. Both seemed to have started around the same time.

I realise this is a bit vague, so I caught a good example and a comparable screenshot within YouTube. Feeds are marked in green just for super-clear, uh, clarity.

Here you see at least 3 livestreams that are unrelated to me at all. Meanwhile, the YouTube app (while full of shit I don't care about, of course) only features the creators I watch or suggested, related, stuff - like news on the Intel nightmare or Hank Green's video. Most of these are present in the Grayjay side of things.

Have also edited the post to reflect these being only livestreams; I genuinely didn't realise at first that it was streams only, and assumed I had video content I didn't want too.

FWIW, I feel like my feed is quite stale of late, with the same selection of videos present most of the time and just one or two new ones from my top creators in there, but that could well be a YouTube algo problem rather than Grayjay (and I think is likely them, since my guess is Grayjay just pulls my YouTube feed rather than doing anything to interfere with it on my behalf or similar.)
