Use Cases
Right now, with the state of importing playlists from sources like YouTube, you end up with a bunch of duplicate playlists. If you then use some of them in grayjay, you have conflicting playlists that are the same. If you want to consolidate, you have to figure out what videos are only in one or the other playlist, and manually move them over by opening the video and then adding it over. Combined with issue #1618, this is really annoying.
As well, if you wanted to just combine two playlists, say two workout playlists, or your cyberpunk and steampunk playlists. It would be cool to be able to do that.
Proposal
I am suggesting a UI feature to merge two (or more) playlists. It would be possible to select any amount of playlists, which would activate a toolbar with actions that would be useful. One would be merge playlists. The merge would take the two playlists, and append the lower one to the higher one, removing duplicates. There could also be buttons like shuffle and delete on the toolbar, but that's out of the scope of this. The removing duplicates could be a setting or something, because some people may want duplicates. Maybe removing duplicates is a button. Also there should be an input for setting the name during merging. The default would be a combination of the names of the playlists. Eg "Combination of Cats and Dogs" or just "Cats and Dogs". If it's more than two, then "Cats, Dogs and More", "Combination of Cats, Dogs, and More", "Cats, Dogs, Ect".
