In the Rev 0.2 preview PDF there's a section for including RGBtoHDMI on the board. Can I suggest using the CPLD version as a base as it has more dynamic handling of the clock signal and essentially eliminates sparklies that are often seen with the 74 logic version. The amiga version is an adaptation of the original CPLD board but needs less supporting electronics. Just the CPLD and a few decoupling caps.
@LinuxJedi did one implementation and the kicad project is here: https://github.com/LinuxJedi/AmigaRGBtoHDMI

It is also a lot easier to solder :)

Hi all, i want to do this board as an SMD version and i have quite a few features i want to add to it. I seen the Kicad files and i kinda groaned as i am an Eagle Cad person. When i look at Kicad i kinda shy away.

I want to make this board and have it partially assembled with all the annoying wiggly little bits lol. I have 2 weeks off so i will try to get something started. I will make all files public as i think the board will be more popular with less assembly required. I would definitely use the CPLD for HDMI and make a header for the Pi (somewhere where it wont interfere with any possible addons. I made a Floppy select board so you could use a combination of goteks/real floppy inside the Amiga and swap ID's whenever you want. (So DF0 and DF1 would now be internal) Also add OSD display for when you want to see the Gotek display when using RGB or HDMI

edit... i sent gerbers to jlcpcb and they say there is an issue with the gerbers, any ideas what ?
