At Layer5, we hold many student internships, in fact, we host the #1 most popular Linux Foundation internship: Meshery. As a bootstrapped, open source startup, we can ill afford to offer students the Octernship minimum $500 USD stipend. We do, however, offer career and life-changing engagement in which student learn and grow at a rate faster than and well beyond what the get in school or in most other internships. We give them the true value of an internship: experience and relationships (with resume building and stipends coming in 3rd and 4th importance). Is there an option to for partners to engage at $0 stipend or to have their stipends funded by another organization (e.g. GitHub)?
Thanks for your consideration.

Thank you for reaching out @leecalcote .Currently we don’t have the option available where organisations can choose to fund internships for other organisations. However we’re working to improve the experience and create more capabilities in the program to support more students and organisations 🚀
