Day 26: Reflexive Verbs

Reflexive verbs are verbs that reflect the action back onto the subject. In other words, the subject does something to itself. Reflexive verbs usually come with reflexive pronouns: me, te, se, nos, os, se.

Key Vocabulary:

  • Lavarse (to wash oneself)
  • Peinarse (to comb oneself)
  • Vestirse (to dress oneself)

Examples with Common Reflexive Verbs

  1. Lavarse:

    • Me lavo las manos. - I wash my hands.
    • ¿Te lavas la cara todas las noches? - Do you wash your face every night?
  2. Peinarse:
