@rylnd I'd like to atleast pull the git features out to be available in bash (this shouldn't be too hard)

Yes, there is definitely interest here. I looked into this briefly a few weeks ago. If I remember correctly, I saw that wd basically relies on some zsh builtin, didn't see an analog in bash, and gave up. I'm willing to try again, though.

Wd is a zsh plugin separate from the prompt, we shouldn't need worry about that immediately.

Sure. wd functionality is the only thing my bash setup doesn't have right now, so that's why I'd like to get that working.

This is my existing git-based prompt. It could definitely be cleaned up, but I believe the same functionality is there. I'll try to write a better one using your colors and icons.
