Git status opinionated or independent plugin?

The current git status is very opinionated because, well, I was the only one using it. But as the project gains traction, other people may have different requirements. So, this issue is about whether I should split the project into three parts: the theme itself, the cmus status, and the git and future GitHub/Gitlab scripts.
