** Versions **

  • Home Assistant version: 2024.10.3
  • This integration version (for instance 1.1.0): 1.4.1

Hi,

I have added a second heatpump by changing the second topic prefix to panasonic_heat_pump2.
It´s working i got all entities. But now i have the problem that sometimes commands are not beeing send.

For example:

Right now i set Force DHW Mode. The switch jumps up. But after refresh its back down and state is not changed to dhw only.
Maybe 1h later i set Force DHW Mode and it works immediately.

Same think for other parameter like Aquarea Mode or heat request shift.

Sometimes the command works in real time and sometimes its not working at all.

Any idea where the problem could be?

Thanks a lot

Hello, thanks for reporting this.
It's hard to know what could be the issue. Ideally you would look at a MQTT software such as https://mqtt-explorer.com/ to see "live" the effect of changing a switch such as Force DHW Mode.
In theory, you should see immediately an MQTT message being sent on the right topic. If you don't, the bug is in this integration.

If you do see the message however, it's possible there is a conflict between heishamon and HA view.

Could you try to reproduce the issue while observing MQTT messages? It will help to see how we could fix this.

Hi,
Thanks a lot. I checked it now. All commands are visible in mqtt explorer. I checked the Heisha monitor and i see, that i got an reconnect to MQTT every 10 seconds - WIFI is on 100%.

What could be the problem here?

To be honest I don’t know.
I think you can try to make sure you run with the latest version of heishamon and then report the issue on Heishamon repository (or the community slack).

From the point of view of this integration, I don’t think we can do better!
