There's an oportunity here to replace the pynpm dependency by meta-package-manager, as a way to install NPM dependencies from Python code.

meta-package-manager currently does not support install yet, but this might be a good initiative to start implementing these features and dogfood my projects.

For the context pynpm has been introduced in dcaece9
