I'm trying this on my brand new D110 with the attached image. Niimprint connects to the printer and it feeds a label through, but no image is shown. The label remains completely white.
Using black text on a transparent PNG was a total guess. I've also tried white text on transparent background, and black text on white background, but the result is the same.
Can you add a little documentation for what dimensions/content are expected and maybe a couple of example images?

Embarrassing admission time: turns out I had the reel loaded the wrong way up :) With this rookie error corrected I find regular black text on a white background prints well.
Here's a couple of requests:
A couple of example PNGs and a line in the readme suggesting dimensions
Autodetect the orientation of the image from whichever axis is 96 pixels wide, rotating if necessary before sending to the printer. That'll save a few seconds doing it manually in Gimp.
Thanks for the great work - now I can use my D110 without installing that creepy Android app.
