For a hand-wired 3x5+3 I'd suggest wiring according to the crkbd schematic as crkbd is already supported in QMK, ZMK, and KMK. Then you won't have to make a custom keyboard definition, and can rule out firmware issues. You can download the PCB files from the crkbd repo and view the schematic in kicad. I'd suggest using QMK rather than KMK due to https://github.com/manna-harbour/miryoku_kmk#issues. For ZMK on a split, if your MCU doesn't have BT or if the BT is not supported by ZMK you'll need to use a different MCU as ZMK doesn't support wired split comms. |
