Hello, thanks for getting back to me.
1. I do have my old phone but I erased it when I changed to a new one.
Also, I restored the phone and checked if the app still had any codes on it
but it doesn’t.
2. I don’t have an encrypted back up.
Do you think you’d still be able to help me?

Hello Rasti, I think you are out of luck. The only possible solution I think that might work is to check and see if iCloud Keychain sync is on. If you had that setting turned on for your old phone, but did not yet turn it on with your new phone, turning it on might get you your old codes. Follow these instructions to turn on iCloud Keychain on your new device. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204085 If that doesn't fix your issue, then you are out of options and will have to continue trying to solve it by reaching out to Facebook or instagram. -Alex |
Hello,
I used your app as a 2 factor authorisation for my Instagram account. I got logged out of that account and whenever I sign in, it asks for a code. When I changed my phone, my authenticator app did not update with it. So I don’t get any code on that app, since I don’t remember the secret key. Can you please help me figure this issue out? I’ve worked very hard for this Instagram account as it’s my work and I run a book club through it. I would be so grateful.
