HowTo: Purge History (and impact on CosmosDB size) #2435
-
Due to a still to be discovered bug, my CosmosDB backing the FHIR server went from 10GB to 50GB in the space of few days. I know there should be a $purge-history option supported (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/healthcare-apis/fhir/fhir-features-supported), but I am not clear how it's to be used. I haven't found any documentation on the subject. Can you point me in the right direction? Also, should all the offending history be removed, would CosmosDB go down in size, or leave the currently space free but allocated? Thanks |

Hi @mmacagno, sorry for the delay but we just got some docs up for
$purge-history
here. This will remove the resources from your history in CosmosDB and will reduce your billed data size.
