Issue with ezdxf Library: Error when Running python3 -m ezdxf -V

Environment:

• Python Version: 3.10
• Operating System: Ubuntu 22.04.3

You have installed a TTF, TTC or OTF font that fontTools can't handle or the font-file is corrupt. I added the TTLibError to the surrounding try ... except clause but of course that only works in the next release of ezdxf v1.1.3. Sadly the exception does not display the filename of this font-file, so you cannot fix this issue on your system.

Thank you for your prompt response and explanation. I appreciate your efforts to clarify the situation. It's good to know that you've already made adjustments to the exception handling for the upcoming release. I'll be looking forward to it.

Regarding the discussion, would you prefer it to remain open for others who might encounter the same problem, or should it be closed after the new release?
