I'm also not sure how to hide some of this information on a public git with a static-hosted website like we have here. In the re-designed registration process we ask to fill out the GitHub form where we give the user an option to either fill out the form with the contact information directly, or share it more privately over the email (as it was done before). The second is the preferred method to avoid sharing contact details publicly.
