# `bio`

**Michelle Franc Ragsac** is a Filipino American bioinformatician based in sunny San Diego, California. When not analyzing genetic data at the command line, Michelle enjoys exploring the food scene in whatever city she's in or playing with her shiba inu, Yuuki.

Currently, she is a **Postdoctoral Scholar** studying pediatric asthma in [Tiffany Amariuta's](https://www.amariutalab.org/) group at the University of California, San Diego [Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute](https://datascience.ucsd.edu/).
