If you're unfamiliar with markdown then there is a good quickstart available here.

There is a full reference available from Github as well.

There isn't a preview available currently but if one is implemented then it will not process inline HTML, and we suggest you don't use inline HTML with this application unless you really need to as it reduces the readability of your notes.
