I am planning to translate the Server Administration Guide into Taiwanese Chinese and have noticed that it currently lacks support for internationalization (I18N).

If there are no objections, I would be happy to proceed with implementing the necessary I18N support.

For the moment, there is just the user manual available in different languages.

@rakekniven Do you know if there are plans for the other parts of documentation as well?

Hello,
actually there no plans to translate the admin guide.
Most admins are used to read/speak english.

@rakekniven

Most admins are used to read/speak english.

I would argue that this is pretty much not the case, at least in the Chinese locale many service admins rely on third-party tutorials(1, 2, 3) and various online translation services for help in deploying Nextcloud and other services, having the official documentation translatable prevents them from following outdated/incorrect information and having a potentially harmful/insecure Nextcloud deployment.

Ok, we can leave this issue open.
My last sentence is not an official statement, just the result of various discussions of the last years.
Keep in mind: You need volunteers (translators) to localize them.
There is nothing worse than instructions that are only partially translated.
