Issue

When using microG, enabling notifications fails on the client-side.
Notifications will in fact work, but as a result cannot be toggled granularly within the app.

Granular control is still possible through the Android system settings (App info -> Notifications).

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Settings -> Push notifications
  2. Toggle "Enable notifications" to on
  3. Tap "Save"
  4. Error dialogue appears:
