Cannot send a notification before creating a custom group

Currently you cannot send a notification without creating a custom group, and you need to do this every time. You should be able to send notifications to default groups, and should not need to create new custom groups each time.

@jbeorse I have looked into this but cannot find any problem. I am able to send the notification to already created group any no. of time without any issue. Maybe it is due to issue #22 which is already resolved in #39.
