Argentinean Public Health Research on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for Epidemic Prevention (ARPHAI) #1
Comments
Hi everyone! Leave below the translated MISSION and VISION of the ARPHAI Project. In the framework of the ARPHAI project, we identified as a problem the difficulty in getting people and teams involved. Therefore, we identified the need to improve instruments that allow a faster and safer immersion in ARPHAI(MISSION), especially where research projects are closely related to sensitive data (tools currently being developed). The broader VISION of the proposal is to generate the conditions for improved openness and transparency that will encourage orderly participation in the project and thus enable its continuity in the medium term (irrespective of the source of funding and/or the people involved). To this end, the proposal is to generate an ecosystem of instruments/devices to facilitate the entry and participation of teams and individuals in the project. For Example: defining the mechanisms for opening up the results, forms, and channels of communication, administrative issues, protocols for the presentation of work plans, mechanisms for articulation with other institutions, protocols for accessing data, etc. Our goal is to develop, Openly, an Onboarding system that facilitates participation; internal management of the project, and teamwork, where there is an updated participation record at the different levels of ARPHA |

Welcome to OLS-5! This issue will be used to track your project and progress during the program. Please use this checklist over the next few weeks as you start Open Life Science program 🎉.
Week 1 (week starting 28 February 2022): Meet your mentor!
If you're a group, each teammate should complete this assessment individually. This is here to help you set your own personal goals during the program. No need to share your results, but be ready to share your thoughts with your mentor.
Before Week 2 (week starting 7 March 2022): Cohort Call (Welcome to Open Life Science!)
Attend call or catch up via YouTube
Create an issue on the OLS-5 GitHub repository for your OLS work and share the link to your mentor.
Draft a brief vision statement using your goals
This lesson from the Open Leadership Training Series (OLTS) might be helpful
Leave a comment on this issue with your draft vision statement & be ready to share this on the call
Check the Syllabus for notes and connection info for all the cohort calls.
Before Week 3 (week starting 14 March 2022): Meet your mentor!
Before Week 4: Cohort Call (Tooling and roadmapping for Open projects)
Week 5 and later
