A user needs to alias locales to turn paths like /en/page into /english/page for backwards compatibility.

Proposal

Offer a strategy option to alias locales.

strategy: {
  // ...
+  localeAlias = {
+    en: "english",
+    de: "deutsch",
+ }
}
