Install Guide

There are two options for installing this synchronisation tool:-

• Install
• Unzip

💾 Find the install files in the Downloads section at the bottom of the Releases page.

Install (setup.exe)

✅ Automatically checks for new versions and updates
✅ Uninstall via Control Panel and Add/Remove programs
❎ Cannot be portable
❎ Cannot choose install location
❎ Anti-virus may cause problems

Unzip (portable.zip)

✅ No install required
✅ Can be portable (eg USB stick)
❎ Manual uninstall

1. Unzip the file to a location of your choice
2. Run the extracted outlookgooglecalendarsync.exe file to start the sync tool

Security Alert Suppression

Although there is a bit more flexibility on the management of security popups in 2007 and later, there are some free third party tools that may help:

• Advanced Security for Outlook - tested on 2003 and works very well
• ClickYes - untested
