Duplicate homeKit QR codes #263

You are right... pairing code is hard coded. This is mostly okay, but I am aware that if two or more un-paired ratgdo's are active on a network then you are likely to run into problems when pairing to HomeKit. If you only have one un-paired device active then it is okay. But I should really research what the proper way to do this is... to assign a unique pairing code. So lets keep this issue open to track that. |

I have implemented a fix to this in the ratgdo32 code base. Not sure if I will be able to implement it in this version or not, but I will try when I turn my attention back to this version. Fix is to generate a unique-ish QR setup ID based on MAC address, which I believe will solve this problem. |

Greetings all. New here. Sorry if I don't give you all the info you need. Purchased 3 ratgdo discos last week. Installed the first two on my garage doors with no issue. However, when I try to install the 3rd to HomeKit, I get an error that says 'garage door' is already installed and it gives me the option to go to the 1st device I installed. I have ensured all three devices have unique bridge names and unique common names, but every time I try to add the third device, it tells me it's already installed. All three devices are up on the 3.0.5 firmware and I can see all three in a browser. The Home Hub is an AppleTV running iOS18.2. I have about 20 HomeKit native devices attached and they all work fine (including the two other disco's). Paul asked that I post my experience here. |

I have two of these devices and they both show the same QR code. Is it possible to force one to generate a new one? I've tried unpairing and rebooting but this didn't change the anything.
thanks in advance.
