I'm currently developing a documentation site using retype. I'd like to emulate the common structure of having hand-written documenation in one section of the site, and generated API reference (e.g. typedocs) in another. In other words, two sub sites with their own left side navigation.
I've set up a typedoc theme for retype (will publish if I continue developing it to a decent standard) which adds a folder for API Reference, but as there are so many pages, the usablity feels quite poor.
No doubt there are lots of things to take into consideration here! From a dev perspective though, I'd imagine having a single property I could add to an index.yml file to indicate that that folder should render its own left navigation bar. Something like root: true.
