Checking the user's guide, it seems that PhysX only works with rigid bodies :(

The simulation library to simulate clothes is called NvCloth. It's not totally clear to me whether NvCloth is part of PhysX or not, but a first inspection of the docs and github repo makes me think that they are two different things.
