Proposal Details

Objective

In this stage, we focus on empty transaction execution performance(from sequence to execute). There are still serious perf issues for empty tx.

Jobs

• fix benchmark: sometimes bench may fail
• bench in ci
• improve marshal/unmarshal (bottleneck) in vm [Runtime] Add a cache to the ObjectRuntime for caching runtime objects. #2947
• analyze rocksdb stats in rocksdb LOG files feat(config): add enable_statistics option for RocksDB #3059(we don't have to enable stats for reducing overhead in this stage, we already have enough data about rocksdb behavior)
