I usually write lots of FIXMES...

I believe these are pretty minor, (e.g. things not worthy of a proper issue), some would just be cleaner code that does the same things, others, like guess_dep_id kinda depend on CRAN having nicer permanent identifiers (which it sort of does now for the active version, but I don't like the tar ball URLs being identifiers).
