Merging Olu's and Weiwei's IOMB #2
Comments
Hi, I was wondering if the datasets listed above were already available. The Model Evaluation Team at ACCESS-NRI is willing to support Land and Ocean evaluation products for the Australian community. We would be happy to help with adding new datasets. Let me know how we can coordinate. Thanks! Romain Just tagging @rhaegar325 who is a member of the team for reference. |
@nocollier ? Any advice on this? |
Hi Romain
I think the IOMB ocean data is CF-compliant ready. I did not finish merging it to the root of IOMB-data, but I will continue on this. You can find the DATA in netcdf format here https://zenodo.org/record/6972502

I can see they are listed in the IOMB.cfg available in the ILAMB repository. They are not available at the IOMB root https://www.ilamb.org/IOMB-Data <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.ilamb.org/IOMB-Data__;!!CzAuKJ42GuquVTTmVmPViYEvSg!LnzA_s9GX4dyHbw7lZ3FrOunGJkldyZZRHtrXMIzaS4kx2vBCMDaxg_eEHetQ5_pJ3JyKhwABu3jTBspoy7iPQEb$>
The IOMB results on ILAMB.org show WOA and GLODAPv2 so I suppose they have been made CF-Compliant already.

Thanks @weiweifu ! |
Now that we are (almost) past Weiwei's paper publishing, I wanted to go back and look at what Olu had done. The following table shows the datasets that both papers use. There is a lot of overlap but some clear differences too. It would be good to have a discussion on which of these products we should make sure get into IOMB moving forward.
