The app currently works with emulators/devices running Android 8.1 (api 27) to Android 12L (api 32).

Version API Works
Android 14.0 34 no
Android 13.0 33 no
Android 12L 32 yes
Android 12.0 31 yes
Android 11.0 30 yes

Adding JRuby to an AndroidStudio project

Use the update_jruby_jar.sh script in the app folder:

cd app
./update_jruby_jar.sh

Adding gems

  • Add your Gemfile in the app directory.
  • Run the bundle Rake task using JRuby
jruby -S rake bundle
