Introduce a yaml file located at ~/.paintera/config that holds some Paintera config, e.g.

  • Paintera tmp directory to specify directories other than /tmp
  • Paintera tmp project prefix (currently defaults to paitnera-project-)
  • Set --default-to-temp-directory=true/false

etc

SnakeYAML seems to be a good choice.

A default prefix search root (place where filesystem browsing to find projects and/or datafiles) would also be really nice.

Something like that exists already but is very experimental and undocumented. I will write up a small wiki about it when I am back from my trip.
