I posted this over on sandreas/m4b-tool as i believed that was where the error occurred, but it is probably auto-m4b.
Using Seanap/Auto-m4b in a docker Compose file running in a proxmox lxc Ubuntu 24.04 , and I used to get :
an error occured, that has not been caught:

followed instructions to replace the M4b-Tool with latest pre-release 2024-05-14. (The latest pre release works fine when used as a command line)
I now get the following when using auto-m4b. :
Starting Conversion
uncaught exception: The provided cwd "" does not exist.Finished Converting
Putting the m4b into a folder
Deleting duplicate mp3 audiobook folder
It then fails and never creates the merge or convert to m4b, but it does delete the mp3's
