Try enabling " skip files that already exist " in the options menu. That seems to work for me and a few other people, so maybe it will work for you too.

dont be so mean, it used to be the perfect downloader for playlists, absolutely the best, no competition. it recently became bugged for some reason but the creator is working on fixing it. keep in mind, it is free, you have not paid money and been scammed or anything. how about us being a little reasonable here?

That does literally nothing. It's not an issue with the app, YouTube seems to have implemented IP-based download limiting. You can download a few videos, then your IP gets temporarily banned from downloading more, and you get the "please sign in" error.

Good news is, you can easily bypass it. Login to your router, reset your WAN IP, problem solved. The bad news is, downloading entire playlists is a pain now, since you'll hit the error after the first few videos. Need to download videos one by one and periodically renew IP.

I think its only on "Artist channels" with the Music Icons. Everything else works fine for me. Not any IP ban stuff.

I dont think they have implemented ip based limiting, because after this app went down i made my own in python and downloaded a playlist of over 100 videos no problem. Its just 25 lines of code, uses some generic youtube download library, takes the playlist url as a parameter, downloads the webpage of the playlist and makes a list of the individual video urls, and downloads them one by one then converts them to mp3 cause i use it for my walkman. Its just 25 lines of code but im not at the computer right now, i just saw this reply in my email inbox. You can do it with chatgpt pretty sure, it helped me quite a bit with troubleshooting some issues with the conversion

Yup, I can confirm this helps. Unfortunately I have to paste the link and click download multiple times but i'm fine with that. :)

I think its because of cache files, try restarting your system or clearing cache files from temp folder (in windows)

I'm suffering this problem, I can't download anything, I already did what they said and I'm still the same, it says to log in, according to the update it fixed that but apparently not, I have to wait to see if you find the solution or tell me how to fix it

this is due to youtube updating something, newpipe was down aswell until it got an update which makes me think theyve done this to shut down apps like these since theyve also been cracking down on adblockers and such. what a piece of shit app and company, i cant remember anything theyve done that was useful since they removed dislikes in 2021
