Kernel version: 5.10
Kernel download: https://github.com/TheWildJames/GKI_KernelSU_SUSFS/releases/tag/v1.5.3-11
susfs version: 1.5.3
susfs module version: 1.5.3-R12

This is not specifically limited to /product/ directory, if any other module is overlaying anything else in a path which needs to be hidden by susfs, it would fail.
This can be worked around by making the module globally mounted using this.

But some paths (Screenshot below) can't be hidden and are visible regardless of any other overlays.

this issue is an upstream issue
basically lets say you suspath anything on /system/etc and then
you mount/unmount something dynamically on /system/etc

all those files added to sus_path gets exposed again

Leave this open till upstream fixes it.
Thanks for the report.
