Thank you!!! This dark mode feature for DB Browser is amazing! |
Love it. Thx |
It's not very good |
Rather than a not-very-helpful comment, can you suggest ways in which it can be improved? In what ways is it 'not very good' ? If it was black text on a black background, I can agree with you, but I'm not sure on what improvements can be made by a 'not very good'. Should we just scrap it and start again? |
@Sneffel, @chrisjlocke - theming and syntax colours should be better addressed when I push the commit for Settings Clean Up (see discussion #3317). |
@Sneffel ; What OS are you using, and what version of DB4S are you using? (Which version of the nightly...) |
Suggestion: could you add a way to use non-Dark mode (without having to switch the Desktop style)? Would be great! :) |

@itsjusttriz Would you be ok to re-create this suggestion in our main application repository instead? https://github.com/sqlitebrowser/sqlitebrowser/ It'll probably get looked at properly that way, rather than when it's a comment on the website repository. 😄 |
is it possible to autoadapt :P I mean actually I have installed an automatic script who changes my desktop from ligth to dark mode with sunraise and sunset time... I wanna change my sqlite according this feature, for this feature I use this 3 settings: gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme $theme2Stablish |
@jackfido It's a decent idea. We use the Qt framework (version 5.x currently), which I think has no real idea of dynamically doing this. Qt so far hasn't really had much in the way of dark/light support built in, but maybe their new 6.x series will improve things. |
Thats great to know |
