@wsalesky I did a bit more testing of this after our meeting, and it seems that searching for saints is not returning the right number of results.
Searching from https://srophe-syriaca-front-end.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/persons/search.html for the type 'saints' in all of SBD gives only 578 results. However, searching the development branch of Syriaca data for "saints" in listPerson/*/state/@ref gives 1153 records. I can't think of a good way to see which are not being returned to check if there's something different in the data for those...
Note that I found two records with duplicate tei:state elements (see srophe/syriaca-data#1208), which is a data error that might cause those two to be missing from results if it's not expecting an array, but even with those it should be returning 1151 records
