I have checked the Changelog that the issue is not already fixed.
I believe this issue is a bug, and not a general technical issue, question or feature requests that can be discussed on the forum.
Describe the bug
When listenbrainz server is having issues (which is pretty often), strawberry shows a modal window with the error, taking away the focus from whatever other program I'm using at the moment.
This error is not even actionable by me - what I can do is limited to waiting until listenbrainz brings server up again, or turning of the scrobbling.
I can disable the checkbox "show dialog for errors", but then I won't see actionable errors like "login error". The error window in theory would be fine, but it should not, in any circumstances, steal focus from other apps.
Even when typing this bug report I was typing this text into that modal window several times instead of the browser, because the focus was stolen.
To Reproduce
enable listenbrainz integration
wait for several weeks
Expected behavior
Make the error message less obtrusive, and the error it shows should be more useful than "invalid value" without specifying what value was invalid and how
