Toggling the orthographic camera causes some issues:
Box selection no longer works
Zoom no longer works
Can mess up render order (to reproduce, create a helix, toggle orthographic camera, try to zoom out, toggle perspective camera. Things that should be behind are now in front)
Translation and rotations gizmos are not interactive (or only sometimes?)
Sometimes the perspective gets messed up too, but I'm not able to find a good way to reproduce it

I will add to this thread that orthographic mode also creates jagged edges between meshes (see image). These boundary defects are for the most part nonexistent in perspective mode. I wonder if this could be solved by subdividing the faces on the geometry.
