chrono:earliestChronometricAge and other chrono: borrowed terms

In the metadata for some of the terms borrowed from the chrono: vocabulary, there is skos:exactMatch relationship declared with the same term. This does not make sense to me if the terms are actually being borrowed -- you are basically saying:

chrono:earliestChronometricAge skos:exactMatch chrono:earliestChronometricAge.

i.e. that the term is an exact match to itself.

I may be misunderstanding something here. If the intent is to indicate that within LtC, the term is used in a way somewhat different from the term as it is used in chrono:, then you could do something like add a skos:scopeNote indicating the usage within LtC. Audiovisual Core does that for some terms. I'm not saying that's the best practice, but it is being done.
