Upgrade of Postgres to 13?

I just noticed, that the postgres-version in the sample docker-compose.yml on https://docs.teslamate.org/docs/installation/docker went from 12 to 13. Does that mean an upgrade of an existing installation is required or recommended?

Not required, no. The file should bekept up to date so that new users start directly with the latest version. For all others it is recommended to upgrade to the latest version at some point.

The Statistics dashboard seems to require Postgres 13 but that was not intentional, see #974. Ideally, the queries should be rewritten with the next update so that they also work with older versions.

Well, Postgres 12 should be also ok.

Ideally. :-) But I am not very optimistic about that.

So I got the latest and also upgraded the db to Postgres 13. And when I try and run the database doesn't load with the following errors. It mostly are related to database file compatibility errors from v12 to v13. Is there a conversion that needs to happen when the script runs and detects this?
