Maybe should create a Github workflow for that. Whenever there's a new release version on Github, push that version to npm as well.
Created a initial pull request for this issue.

Is there any workaround for this? Installing from GitHub just leaves me an empty package.

EDIT: Resorted to copying the code to my project.
