Add to a custom plugin without installing this plugin

Sorry that this isn't really an issue, but rather a question.

Any documentation on how to implement on a custom plugin the filters to get translations from a Traduttore + Glotpress install without having to install "Traduttore Registry" to the website?

In short, I need to implement the "translations client" directly on my custom plugin without having to ask the site owner to install this additional plugin.

Will replicate the translations_api filter + the get_translations function suffice?
