The purpose of this page is to answer all your common question regarding MAGNETAR.
Setting up is completely optional and can be done through terminal emulator.

You need to enter terminal with root permission, this can be done by typing
su
and then typemagnetar
.

Latest. For version naming, MAGNETAR uses the NATO Phonetic Alphabet. A stood for Alpha, B for Bravo, and so on, so it was similar to versioning 1, 2, 3... but with A, B, and C... It includes bug fixes and newer features from previous builds.
Yes and no. MAGNETAR will attempt to override tweaking modules/apps to avoid file conflict, but for those tweakers that also got alive engine may conflict setting parameters on a file. In conclusion, avoid installing multiple mods on your phone because it can cause more harm than good.
Yes, as long as you don't use MAGNETAR to disable thermals.
Yes, it can be flashed on any aarch64 rooted Android device using Magisk or KernelSU.
No, you cannot disable this feature, but you can increase the threshold (the maximum is 50°C).

Make sure the OS Battery Saving Feature is turned off, and you can adjust the automatic powersaver by running
magnetar --powersave <option>
, where option can range from 0 to 50 percent battery percentage.

When the phone heats up, MAGNETAR may activate Cooldown Mode as a precautionary measure to prevent overheating. This may cause the phone to throttle down and cause lag. To avoid MAGNETAR activating Cooldown Mode, do not play while your phone is charging, as MAGNETAR will be more temperature aware and will try keep your phone temperature lower than the threshold you have set.

Uninstall. The unofficial app no longer works with newer MAGNETAR versions and has been deprecated since the KILO version.
Uninstalling is possible via the Magisk or KernelSU app; simply remove as you would any other module.
