Other ways to help (broken url cleanup)

All the submitted url links are tested for validity using the borgified/url_checker script periodically. After they are tested, the results are posted in the [issues section] (https://github.com/vhf/free-programming-books/issues?state=open) and titled as "url_checker".

You can help by manually verifying that each of the links in the posted issue are indeed bad by just clicking on them. Some url may be detected as "broken" if the web server hosting the site suffers from a temporary outage, hence we want to double check if the link is really dead. Please make note of any urls that have been erroneously found broken by commenting directly on the same issue.

Afterwards, you can clone [vhf/free-programming-books] (https://github.com/vhf/free-programming-books), make the appropriate deletions to clean up the broken urls and finally send us a Pull Request.
