This is a Splunk Technology Add-On that calls splunkd to run a errpt -ac via inputs.conf, redirects errpt into a file and monitors the output.
I think I have LINE_BREAKER and a couple fields defined in the app as well, but who knows, maybe it's there, maybe it's on my search head still. That's something to find out.
