Welcome to our Flight Simulator app, User Guide. Here, you will find a step-by-step guide on how to use the Flight Simulator.
To open the file containing Flight Data, select “File” in the top left corner. Scroll down to select “Open”. Then, locate “flight2023.csv” and click “Open”. Once completed, you should have a popup stating the file was successfully loaded.
To View All – To view all scheduled flights, return to the “File” menu and select “View All.” This will then open a window showing the scheduled flights on the left and the landed flights on the right, listed from bottom to top in the most recent order, followed by their respective total sums listed beneath each category.
To open Options- Select “Run”. After that, a menu bar should appear listing two options, “Simulation” and “Option”. Select “Option.” once you’ve selected the option, a popup box should ask you to “Enter the number of Terminals?”. Enter a valid response and select OK.
To open About - Select “Help” once you’ve selected “Help”, an “About” option should appear, and select “About”. Once “About” has been chosen, you should see the following information.
To Save- Open the code file. Click on “File” at the top left of your screen. Then click on “Save”. Once the code is saved, you will get confirmation that flights have been successfully protected.
To Run the Simulation - Once you have successfully loaded a legible file, select the “run” section in the menu bar and select “simulation”. This will open a portal showing the comprehensive ledger of chronological flight activity listed from most recent to least recent. Furthermore, the average delay time and the average count will be listed on the left, and the most significant delay and the largest count will be listed on the right.
