Cumulative update from Ferrite Core v2.1.2

Technical details about the v3.0.0 hardfork

that changes the Difficulty Adjustment algorithm to Dark Gravity Wave v3 first announced on 13 Apr 2023 which addresses issues with hashrate and difficulty oscillations caused by highly variable mining activity, ensuring:

Stable and consistent block confirmation times to maintain reliability for users and applications.
Prevention of abuse by miners exploiting the default difficulty algorithm during periods of fluctuating hashrate.
A more predictable and resilient network that supports long-term growth and sustainability.

This hard fork has resulted in two separate chains:

Ferritecoin (FEC):

    Retains the FEC ticker.
    The upgraded chain adopting DGWv3.
Officially supported by the Ferritecoin development team.
Offers better block timing, network stability, and resistance to miner-induced volatility.

Ferrite Classic (FECC):

The original chain that maintains the pre-fork rules and default difficulty adjustment algorithm.
Continues to operate independently but without the improvements introduced by DGWv3.

Your coins are secure on both chains. To interact with the FEC chain, users must update their wallets to Ferrite Core v3 and newer.

The FEC ticker remains with the DGWv3 chain, which is backed by the core development team and broader community. Most exchanges and marketplaces have since updated to v3+ forked FEC chain by late 2023, but users should confirm with their exchange for specific guidance on 1:1 issuance of Ferrite Classic (FECC).
