Project Description:

Comet Study Corner is an online tutoring application that aims to link underprivileged students with volunteer mentors who can provide assistance in the specific subjects they need assistance with. The application facilitates personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions on various topics. By utilizing this application, students and mentors can connect easily, with all schedule handling and meeting planning taken care of by the application, allowing students to spend more time studying and giving mentors more time to focus on meeting their students’ needs. Comet Study Corner offers underprivileged students greater scheduling flexibility and fosters academic achievement through quality tutoring.

How to Install and Run Comet Study Corner:

1. Clone the repository
   git clone https://github.com/michellekelman/OnlineTutoringApplication
2. Install all package dependencies
   npm install package.json
3. Run the application
   node server.js
4. Open the browser of your choice and navigate to http://localhost:8080/
