 VAPiD is a ultra-lightweight script for quickly annotating and preparing sequences of human viruses for sending to NCBI Genbank.  VAPiD takes a fasta file of human viruses, an NCBI-generated author list, and sample metadata and exports Sequin files that are ready to submit to NCBI.
