The code changes intend to declare an automatic module name for the library when used as a dependency within another modular application. As the Building Modules for the Java Module System section of the Gradle doc suggests Building an automatic module, hence following the approach to extend the usability of the library.
This shall help resolve the issue for users facing:error: module not found: twilio within a modular java application.
